DO SHOCK BOOZE is the name/live project he uses for when he makes tracks.Yoichi Hayashi was born in Aso-City in Kumamoto where the land grew on one of the most famous crators. He has been active in the music scene since 1993 as a DJ/Vocalist/trackmaker. Before he was a vocalist in a rock band, untill he went to Germany & Holland where he got baptized by the Rave culture & Club scene. After coming back to Japan, He started making sounds based on House music with his own vocal and the flavors of Tribal dance music. He also induces live percussionists and other musicians with his live act. As a DJ he has played every clubs in and around Tokyo, such as Womb/ AgeHa/ Club Asia/ Cube 326/ Club axxcis/ Solfa/ Module/ and outdoor parties. Outside of Japan, he has played in Easternsouth Asia like Bali in 2011. He also runs his own label ” TOTEM TRAXX” which organizes underground party called “TOTEM”. The Label also promotes many projects and big artists from all over the world. The projects are “Hypnotic Room (Australia)”, “Plus Records/Shin Nishimura`s techno label(Japan)”, “Fountain music (Japan)”, “Music taste records (US) ” , “POOL8 (Italy)” , “Remix DJ JURI (Taiko-Dub) from Flower Records” and more. He has been highly ranked in a TOP DJ Ranking supported by a club culture magazin, “LOUD” for 3 years in a row.

DO SHOCK BOOZE（ドウショクブツ）とはYoichi Hayashiのソロライブアクト、DJ名義。
1996年頃からボーカリスト・作詞家として数々のバンド経験を積む。2007年に本格的にDJ活動をスタートさせ、様々なパーティーを主宰する一方、国内外のアーティストのプロデュース、リミックスも数多く手掛ける。彼のプロデュースは、ストイックさとアグレッシブさが同居するようなDJプレイと並行して、斬新なアイデアと自らのボイスを組みあわせたダンストラック展開をわずか数年で成し遂げた。2010年には自身のレーベルナイト「TOTEM」を主催し、メインDJ、ライブアクトを務めるほか、都内近郊の小規模なBarから主要クラブ、VOLCANO ASO、ShinKooeNなどの野外フェスティバル、国内最大のハロウィン路上パレード等々でプレイし、地方遠征、東南アジアでの公演も果たした。彼がこれまでに生み出してきた作品は世界レベルで通用し、Hypnotic Room(AUS)、Plus Records(JP)、Flower Records(JP)、Music Taste(US)、7Stars Music(AMS)、MOMENTUM LEAGUE(Germany)、などの主要レーベルから積極的にリリースされている。また、自身のレーベル「TOTEM TRAXX」の発案者としても日本人ならではのサウンドコンセプトを提唱し、海外からも信頼を集める国内発の良質レーベルとして地位を確固たるものにした。エキゾチックなコンセプトを持つアート・ディレクション、WEB・グラフィックデザインのみならずA&Rとしても手腕を発揮。2012年には東京ドームホールシティで開催された世界的に有名なファッションデザイナー、桂由美氏（Yumi Katsura）のBridal collectionでクラシック、タンゴ、ワルツ、ブレイクビーツ、ラウンジ、ハウスまでオールジャンルでの音楽ディレクション、選曲を担当。クラブカルチャーマガジン「LOUD」主催の国内DJトップランキングには3年連続のランクインを果たす。
