日本のDJ／コンポーザー、林洋一の音楽プロジェクト。

1990年代後半から音楽制作を開始し、国内外でのリリースを積み重ねてきたキャリアを持つ。

プロジェクト名が「ドウショクブツ」だと誰も読めないことに気付きプロフィールに記載することを決意。

熊本県阿蘇生まれという自身のルーツを背景に、現在は「魂の部族化」と「地球を含む多様な生物や環境との共生」をテーマに掲げ、アンダーグラウンドな電子音楽の深淵を探求。その核にあるのは、テクノやベースミュージックを自在に織り交ぜ、環境音楽の自由さをも渇望する予測不可能なプレイスタイルだ。

聴く者を恍惚へと誘うそのサイケデリックなサウンドは、常に鮮度を保ちながらも、圧倒的な深みを感じさせる。
インディーレーベル〈TOTEM TRAXX〉やパーティー「MEiYOU」を主宰し、ビジュアルから空間演出までを自らがキュレーションを担当。「FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL」への出演から野外フェスのプロデュースまで、その活動の軌跡は多岐にわたる。

実験的なアプローチを止めないその姿勢は、世代を超えて多くのリスナーの意識に共鳴し、今もなお、まだ見ぬ音の地平を切り拓き続けている。


DO SHOCK BOOZE is a music project by Japanese DJ and composer Yoichi Hayashi.

He began producing music in the late 1990s and has since released tracks both in Japan and overseas.
He decided to include the pronunciation of his project name in his profile after realizing that almost no one could read it as "Doshokubutsu" (meaning "Flora and Fauna" in Japanese).

Influenced by his roots in Aso, Kumamoto pref, his work explores underground electronic music with themes of "tribalization of souls" and "symbiosis with diverse organisms and the environment, including the Earth." His unpredictable playstyle focuses on blending techno and bass music with a natural, ambient feel.

His sound aims to create a psychedelic experience that is both fresh and deep. In addition to running his indie label "TOTEM TRAXX" and the party "MEiYOU," he also handles visual and spatial design. His experience ranges from performing at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL to producing outdoor festivals.

Through a consistent, experimental approach, he continues to develop his own musical world, connecting with listeners across different generations.
