Yoichi Hayashiの音楽プロジェクト＜DO SHOCK BOOZE（ドウショクブツ）＞は、主にテクノ、ベースミュージック、トライバルの要素をクロスオーバーさせながら、恍惚な世界へとトランスさせてくれます。 また、アンビエントやSLOW TECHNO、環境音楽にフォーカスしたエクスペリメンタルな音楽も探求しています。 2010年に、エレクトロニック・ミュージックレーベル＜TOTEM TRAXX＞を自身のアイデンティティの発信地として創設。また、ドイツの名門＜Kompakt＞傘下の＜Traum Schallplatten＞や＜RESOPAL SCHALLWARE＞、Dense & Pika (UK) 主宰の＜Kneaded Pains＞、J.A.K.A.M.の＜Crosspoint＞等、国内外の重要レーベルからも作品を発表。 DO SHOCK BOOZEの活動は多岐に渡り、東京を中心に各地のクラブ、DJ BAR、ライブハウスをはじめ、FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL、RAINBOW ASO、Re:birth、Meeting Point、Brightness、EN FESTIVALなど国内有数の野外イベントへの出演、ファッションショーの音楽制作や空間や目的に合わせた音響デザイン、各地イルミネーションへの楽曲提供、アレンジャーとしてジャンルのフィールドを越えたコラボレーションを行うなど幅広い分野へのチャレンジも惜しんでいません。 そして、電子トライバルダンスとベースミュージックのフレーバー、ディープテクノの邂逅を目指したパーティー・シリーズ「MEiYOU」を都内各地で主催し、そこに関わるアーティストやリリース作品のアートワークアレンジ、パーティーの情報伝達には欠かせないビジュアルディレクションも自らが担い、デザインの面でも情熱を注いでいるのです。 2018年からは、老舗の野外フェスティバル「GLOBAL ARK」の主催メンバーとなり、企画・プロデュースを手掛けています。レーベル＜Global Ark Recordings＞も新たに派生させました。 私たちはこれからも、彼のあくなき探求心がより深く、より自由に、より未知なるものとして、その作品に落とし込まれるのを心待ちにしていたい。

Yoichi Hayashi's music project ＜DO SHOCK BOOZE＞ trances you into an ecstatic world, mainly through a crossover of techno, bass music and tribal elements. It also explores experimental music with a focus on ambient, downtempo and environmental music. In 2010, he founded the electronic music label ＜TOTEM TRAXX＞ as an outlet for his own identity, and has since released his music on the German label Traum Schallplatten, which is part of the renowned Kompakt label, RESOPAL SCHALLWARE, Dense & Pika (UK), J.A.K.A.M.'s Crosspoint and other important labels in Japan and abroad. He has performed at clubs, DJ bars and live houses around Tokyo, as well as at some of Japan's leading outdoor events, such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, RAINBOW ASO, Re:birth, Meeting Point, Brightness and EN FESTIVAL, and overseas, mainly in Europe. They have also undertaken expeditions overseas, mainly to Europe. They have also taken on challenges in a wide range of fields, such as music production for fashion shows, sound design to suit the space and purpose, providing music for illuminations in various regions, and collaborating as arrangers across genre fields. He also organises the party series ‘MEiYOU’, which aims for an encounter between electronic tribal dance, bass music flavours and deep techno, in various locations in Tokyo, arranges the artwork for the artists involved and their releases, and is responsible for the visual direction of the parties, which is indispensable for communicating information. He is also responsible for the visual direction of the parties and is passionate about the design aspect. Since 2018, he has been an organising member of the long-established outdoor festival GLOBAL ARK, planning and producing the event, and has also created a newly-derived label, Global Ark Recordings. He now spends his days creating deeper, freer and more unknown music, repeatedly updating his hybrid live sets to transcend the fence of standardised ‘DJ’ performances and incorporate curiosity.
